As a self-taught artist, I discovered the love for photography as a young adult & started taking pictures as one of my hobbies. As the years passed on, my love deepened for the art, I began to explore and capture areas outside of nature. 

after dark is an extension of Connie L. Barnes Photography.

I was inspired to create this new addition ​so I was able to express my dark side without restriction and add ​an artistic twist. Pushing the boundaries of tradition is just the beginning. I want to harness and bring out the personality and passion that each subject holds. ​​
